This Privacy Policy explains what information Lets go hangout collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We try to keep things simple and only ask for what we actually need to run the Service.
1. Who controls your data
LetsGoHangout, Inc (“Letsgohangout,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates Lets go hangout and is responsible for the privacy practices described in this Privacy Policy. You can reach us at support@letsgohangout.com. A postal address is available upon legally valid request.
2. Information we collect
During onboarding we collect: your first name, date of birth, gender, country, work industry, relationship status, whether you have children, your goals on Lets go hangout, and your email address and password for sign-in. Some of these are kept private and are never shown on your public profile.
When you use the Service we collect basic technical information (device, browser, IP) needed to keep the Service secure and to troubleshoot issues.
3. What stays private
The following are kept private and are not displayed on your public profile:
- Email address
- Date of birth (we only show your age)
- Whether you have children
- Relationship status
- Your authentication identifiers
4. What appears on your public profile
Other Lets go hangout members can see your first name, age, gender, country, your selected goals, and — over time — your profile photo, general location (such as city/state), and interests if you choose to add them.
5. How we use your information
We use your information to operate Lets go hangout, match you with people for in-person meetups, keep the community safe, prevent abuse, and communicate with you about the Service.
6. How we store it
Lets go hangout stores your information with our hosting and database provider. We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest and limit access to personal information to people who need it to operate the Service.
7. Your choices
You can access, correct, or delete your information at any time by contacting support@letsgohangout.com. We will confirm your request and act on it within a reasonable time frame.
8. Children
Lets go hangout is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. If changes are material we will let you know inside the app or by email before they take effect.
